We had a busy weekend (and a bit of a busy week, which is why I'm just now getting around to putting up this post!). Our chamber ensemble, Charis Musica put on a concert at our church on Saturday. Despite the crazy storm weather, we did have a good crowd and enjoyed making music together.
Then, on Sunday afternoon Erik and I had a date!! Yeah - a real date to see a ballet in Philadelphia! I had received a sweet gift from a dear friend for my birthday to get tickets for a show. So, after hearing a lot about the famous choreographer, Balanchine, I chose to go to the ballet! It was absolutely incredible - so beautiful and moving. And...now I'm addicted to seeing live ballet - I'm already looking at next season! :)
