Catching up on November (round two)

Last weekend we had a visit from Jonny, Bria, Lila and Ellie!  So fun to have them in Philly and to be able to spend Saturday together.  We met up at IKEA - a favorite spot of both our families. :)

Matchy-matchy :)

 I made matching skirts (bubble skirts) for Lila and Mer's birthday this year. :)  

It is SO fun to make them matchy-matchy clothes!  

Bria contributed the adorable birdie tees and bright leggings to complete their outfits.

 We took dozens of photos endeavoring to get one where they are both smiling sweetly.  

As you can see...it's nearly impossible!  What silly girls we have. :)

Granna's visit

Jane's Mom was here for a visit with us last week.  We had a wonderful time together and of course lots of snuggle times with these wee girlies.

Over the weekend, Jonny and Bria and their girls visited with us too.

On Sunday, January 20th we had Eliza Wren baptized.  

It was a blessing to have some of our family there for the service. :)

Christmas Festivities

We spent several days after Christmas with Jonny's family (Jane's brother) in Mechanicsburg, PA.  Jane's parents drove up from NC with Will so we had a total of 7 adults and 4 children altogether!

visitors

Eliza Wren's first visitors arrived during her first 24 hours of life - Granna and Grandaddy McKinzie came to meet her shortly before we left the hospital.

Our dear friends, Sherry and Tim popped in later that evening to cuddle her up and declare her to be beautiful. :)

Jonny, Bria, Lila and Ellie came to visit later that week and we enjoyed a boisterious evening with all FOUR granddaughters together with their grandparents and parents!

Aunt Bria

Meredith and Lila were quite the duo at the piano.  Loved capturing this picture of them playing together.

9 Day Trip

Jane and Meredith took a 9 day trip to see many members of Jane's family.  First stop - Mechanicsburg, PA to visit with Jonny, Bria, Lila and baby Ellie!

Later that evening we met up at a park with a beautiful lake to have a BBQ with Bria's family.

On Sunday we all headed down to Frederick, MD to visit with Aunt Tricia, Uncle Tom Keesecker who recently moved back to the east coast.

Meredith and Lila kept cool with the snake sprinkler Granna sent.

Uncle Zach (Jane's cousin) came for the afternoon.

He hadn't seen Meredith and Lila since they were 4 months old!  What a change. :)
