curls!

Meredith was inspired by the Little House on the Prairie stories (her favorites!) when Grace Ingalls had her hair rolled in rag curlers after her bath on Saturday evening.  So, we tried it!

I was very impressed by how well they held - all day long the next day!  It's now part of a sweet after-shower routine for Meredith and me.  Believe it or not, it's a quick 5 minute do! :)

First Ballet Class

This spring, Meredith is taking a 6 week dance class.  She is thrilled and loves going to her class each Monday with a bunch of other 3 year old girls all dressed in pink! :)  

Every week she comes home and shows us what she learned.  

Here she is putting peanut butter on one foot, jelly on the other and putting them together in a sandwich.

Eliza Wren woke up from her nap yesterday and found there was fun going on outside.  She happily squealed by the door and watched every step of her big sister and Daddy.

Meredith and Daddy worked together to build a friendly snowman!

Braids

Meredith's hair is long enough for braids.  

French braids are my favorite.

TWO!!

We've been busy around here (and absent from our blog, sorry!)

...because we've been celebrating our little girl's 2nd birthday!!

On April 5th, Meredith Jane turned TWO!!

What a full week of gifts arriving each day, friends, family, and lots of love shown to our sweet Meredith Jane. In our minds we can't believe she is TWO already, but what we experience everyday reminds us that she is growing more and more into a little lady right before our eyes. We are so thankful for the gift she is to us.

We visited the Cardillo family for a morning this week - so fun! Meredith and Micaela are sweet little friends and had a blast romping around together drawing, painting, playing in Micaela's kitchen and listening to stories. :)

Meredith's latest fascination is with spoons...actually any utensil we are using to eat our meal. So...we've enter the era of 'spoon training'... or something along those lines... :)
